About our Pastor
Say something interest Bishop James E. Wright, Jr. BIO Born an only child to Rev James E. Wright Sr., and Sis Ella K Wright Bishop James E. Wright Jr. was not supposed to be here. However, God had a plan. Being brought up in a strict Christian home, he has known of God’s blessings all his life. At an early age, James displayed skills in leadership and in music. Even though he would display his leadership skills, it was also evident that his musical talent was a gift from God. That gift would become very prevalent in his walk with God. Establishing the multi talented group “Times Three” was James’ way of giving honor to God as they traveled throughout the South Florida area and the United States. He is the CEO of Truth Music Corporation. Bishop Wright was minister of music at Missionary Evangelistic Center under the leadership of Apostle Johnnie L. Kemp for thirteen years. After serving faithfully in ministry Bishop Wright was ordained and recognized as associate pastor of music by Apostle Kemp. Bishop Wright is also proud of his tenure as a police officer for the City of Miami Police Dept where he served his community in Patrol, and special units such as a robbery detective and on the Honor Guard. This is how outreach/witnessing become such a passion for Bishop Wright. After ten years as a City of Miami Police Officer and much prayer, Bishop Wright decerned that the Lord had laid upon his heart to retire from the Police Department and Make some profitable business investments. It was then that Bishop Wright stepped out on faith to follow the plan of God. At this point in his life, Bishop Wright has become known in the Miami Metropolitan area as a well respected entrepreneur. As Bishop Wright continued to trust God he moved out on faith, vision, and prayer. Bishop Wright answered the call of God; and what we know as TRUTH WORSHIP CENTER MINISTRIES, INC. (TWC) was birthed. Bishop Wright was instructed by God to base T.W.C. on a foundation of prayer and outreach. God began to open doors for him because of his obedience to the call and he soon came under the tutelage of Bishop Henry Fernandez of The Faith Center International. Bishop Wright was ordained and covered by Bishop Fernandez and became certified by the University of Ft. Lauderdale in August of 1999. Since the existence of TWC, God has allowed this man of God to oversee over many members. Bishop Wright was ordained to the sacred office of Bishop by Bishop Duane Swilley of A Place Called Hope International being recognized and certified by the ICCC (International Communion Of Charismatic Churches) formally headed by the late Bishop Earl Paulk. Bishop Wright received an honorary Doctor of Divinity from Saint Thomas Christian College and also a Honorary Doctor of Humane letters from City College of Fort Lauderdale FL. At present Bishop Wright is being covered by Bishop Keith Young of Vision for Souls Ministry in Mableton, Ga., and Bishop Wright is currently a part of the ICCC. Bishop Wright is the Presiding Prelate of the City Church Fellowship and covers churches from Florida to the Island of Jamaica. In 2017, Truth Worship Center, by instruction of God, was transitioned to The Point 317, which is a multi-cultural diverse congregation. On March 10, 2024 Bishop Wright married is love Bishop Marlyn S Wright of Fayetteville Ga. She is the Sr Pastor of Life Line Family Worship Center, Fayetteville Ga. They are now building the organization “Life At The Point”, a non-denominational organization dedicated to the development of leaders in church, the home, and in the market place. Bishop Wright is also a proud father of James III, Rashad, Shawanda, Sean, and Semaj Diamond Wright, his prophecy in the flesh.
